Job Summary:
Oversee and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient maintenance operations across Glacier National Park Lodges. This role bridges the technical and administrative sides of Engineering-working closely with Maintenance Managers, Accounting, and vendors to keep data accurate, work orders moving, and systems running reliably. The position supports both the structure and the people behind it, helping the entire operation stay organized, responsive, and connected.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round, with an 8-week furlough period during off-season
Start Date: January 2026
Pay: $20.00/hr (subject to change for 2026)
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)
Housing: Employee housing is not available

Responsibilities:
* Administer and continually improve the CMMS (INFOR), ensuring accurate setup, maintenance, and daily use.
* Manage all aspects of the database: equipment locations, work orders, nameplate data, and parts inventory.
* Track work orders, monitor job status, and report on repair costs and labor trends.
* Provide administrative and project support, including document organization, record-keeping, purchasing, and invoice processing.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Managers to capture and input data for new assets, structures, and infrastructure across all in-park and out-of-park sites.
* Support the Manager of Cultural and Historic Preservation by tracking work on historic structures in Glacier National Park.
* Verify all completed work orders for accuracy before final entry into the CMMS.
* Assist the Maintenance Managers and Director in monitoring departmental expenses, inventories, and work order activity in line with the annual maintenance plan.
* Contribute to the development and oversight of the annual financial plan.
* Facilitate procurement of engineering supplies and equipment, processing orders, purchase requests, and invoices while keeping costs within budget.
* Maintain clear, accurate information for guests, staff, and partners.
* Help prepare and manage contracts, assist with NPS reporting, and help oversee capital expenditures and property-wide CEAs as needed.
* Partner with vendors, contractors, and Maintenance Managers to keep accounts current, process invoices on time, and manage parts and supply orders across all properties.
* Collaborate closely with the Data Entry position to manage purchase orders, monitor work order status, and streamline the purchasing and approval workflow.
* Work closely with the local Accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing, payment processing, and statement reconciliation.
* Perform all duties with a focus on guest experience, operational efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strong proficiency with computer systems and software programs.
* Excellent organization, communication, and analytical abilities.
* Self-motivated and dependable, able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Skilled in data entry, typing, and general administrative procedures.
* Familiarity with basic accounting principles and attention to detail with numbers.
* Calm under pressure, flexible with shifting needs, and dedicated to accuracy.
Experience:
* Previous experience in Microsoft Office and database software programs preferred.
* Previous experience with CMMS system preferred.
Work Environment:
* Primarily office-based with regular interaction across departments and properties.
Physical Requirements include:
* Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
* Ability to work standing or sitting for long periods of time.
