Practical Information:

Location: Warsaw, Poland | Work arrangement: Hybrid | Contract type: Permanent / Full-time | Visa status: Valid working visa for Poland| Reporting to: Director of Software Engineering | Language requirements: Fluent/professional English and Polish, written and verbal

In this role as an Engineering Manager (gn) .NET & Azure, you will join a Poland‑based engineering team working in the HR and Legal domain, developing and running business‑critical internal platforms. The team currently consists of internal engineers and external partners, working in an agile, quality‑focused, and collaborative environment. You will work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and external partners to deliver secure, reliable solutions with real business impact.

Key responsibilities

* Lead, coach, and develop software engineers and technical consultants, including disciplinary and organizational responsibility
* Take ownership of software quality and security, with accountability for outcomes, not just delivery
* Steer and continuously improve engineering and development processes, including the use of AI‑supported development tools
* Collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Owners to deliver impactful HR and Legal solutions
* Contribute hands‑on to design, implementation, testing, and documentation when needed
* Coordinate and manage external partners and service providers as part of the delivery setup

Qualifications:

* Experience leading or coaching engineers and taking responsibility for goal setting, feedback, and development
* Strong background in Microsoft .NET and Azure within modern software engineering environments
* Solid understanding of agile ways of working (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
* Clear ownership mindset for software quality, security, and engineering standards
* Openness to and experience with AI coding assistants or agent‑based AI in software development
