Engineering Intern - Job Corps

				Overview:

To ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: 

* Maintain all mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
* Receive direction for house calls via phone or radio.
* Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
* Clean all work areas after completing job.
* Fill out Daily Work form.
* Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
* Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
* Maintain all mechanicals property wide. 
* Knowledge of all aspects of the Engineering dept. 
* Maintain property pools as directed by CPO.
*  Special projects as assigned by Supervisor.      

Tools and Equipment:

* Various plumbing & heating hand tools & equipment

Working Environment:

* Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
* Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
* Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications:

* Extensive heating background ideally with steam systems.

Qualifications:

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
