Our Madison client offers a great opportunity to expand on your embedded linux skills. You will be a member of a high skill R&D team involved in the development of instrumentation systems that are used to save lives around the world.
We seek an early career engineer with direct experience developing embedded linux driver - firmware applications. Solid C and assembler coding skills. You will be involved in taking new design concepts through exploration, prototyping, development and into deployment/mass production. Good oral and written communication skills.

Compensation: This is a salaried full-time, direct position offering a comprehensive benefits plan.
Pluses: MSEE/CE with 2+ years industrial embedded systems. C++. OOA/D. Proven skills at bringing a product to market. knowledge of board level design using 16/32 bit MCU/microprocessors. ARM architecture and associated tools. Circuit design, implementation, debug and characterization. DDR and Flash memory interfaces. RTL. FPGA circuit design. Verilog/VHDL logic design. Wireless (WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, etc.). Knowledge of EU/UL/CSA safety and emissions regulations and the certification process.
