Responsibilities:
The Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing the implementation of new processes and conducting regular audits to evaluate adherence to established procedures. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen eye for detail to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with KeHE and industry standards. Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in distribution process engineering with a focus on process implementation and compliance.
* Lean training and/or certification preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Work performed is typically performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
* Must sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
* May spend long periods at a desk or computer terminal.
* May use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment during workday.
* Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.
* Work is fast paced; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
