				Overview:

Assists in the execution of the Shure IT Cloud Roadmap and will be responsible for driving our cloud strategy, leading architecture and design efforts. This role requires a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing technical teams. The role is highly collaborative, involving frequent interaction with various members of the IT team and the business at large. It also requires the ability to lead change within the business by leveraging strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. 

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
* Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
* Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
* Assess current cloud infrastructure and recommend improvements.
* Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with application architectures.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for seamless cloud operations.
* Mentor junior staff, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
* Provide technical leadership to the cloud engineering team.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
* Implement robust security measures to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
* Monitor cloud system performance and optimize resource usage.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AWS and Azure.
* Particpate in driving the cloud strategy aligning with business goals.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Minimum of 7 or more years of work experience with progressive responsibilities in IT, preferably within a cloud engineering devops team.
* Extensive experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
* Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security best practices.
* Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
* Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable
