Responsibilities:

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session. 

At Echostar, the Technology Assurance and Performance  team's mission is to deliver software that meets business needs and allows for a positive customer experience.  As a member of the TAP Team, the Senior Software Engineer is a key contributor to the overall software delivery team,  in a fast-paced IT environment testing multiple applications. They will develop solutions that will aid and  improve the Quality Assurance Automation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and build tools using the latest AWS technologies(Lambda, API Gateways, S3 buckets etc)
* Develop Gen AI utilities that will aid and improve the Quality Assurance practices
* Develop Utilities that support automation frameworks
* Create prototypes to validate concepts and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders and users
* Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures
* Extend and maintain existing Applications
* Collaborate with a globally distributed team

Qualifications:

 Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University (computer science, engineering or related field)
* Master's degree would be a plus

Skills and Qualifications:

* 4+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred, Java, C#).

* Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, particularly generative modeling techniques, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS.

* Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), API development, version control (Git), and deployment tools (Jenkins, Harness).

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

* High-energy, detail-oriented, and results-driven, capable of meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
