The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Design Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives in cooling components and systems. Responsibilities: * Support the design and optimization of manufacturing processes for refrigeration and cooling systems, including evaporators, condensers, piping, and assemblies. * Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve product manufacturability and cost efficiency in cooling products. * Assist in new product introduction (NPI) for cooling systems, including pilot builds, process validation, and production ramp-up. * Develop and maintain process documentation such as work instructions, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and control plans related to cooling assemblies. * Participate in design reviews and provide feedback related to manufacturability, tolerance, and assembly of cooling components. * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for cooling system failures or quality issues. * Work closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve defects related to brazing, welding, leak testing, and refrigeration performance. * Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and waste elimination. * Perform time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing in cooling manufacturing areas. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including refrigerant handling standards. * Provide technical support and troubleshooting in cooling manufacturing processes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or refrigeration systems (internships or academic projects are acceptable). * Basic knowledge of refrigeration and cooling principles (heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow). * Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOM structures. * Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as brazing, welding, assembly, and leak testing. * Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
