				Overview:
To develop and design technical solutions and products that meet established quality, functionality, and cost requirements, contributing to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:

Mais Activities:

* Develop and design mechanical components and systems for metal-based products, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Create 2D and 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing standards and customer requirements.
* Modify and optimize existing designs to improve performance, reduce costs, or adapt to new requirements.
* Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of new products or design changes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal engineering procedures.
* Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in design and production processes.
* Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, resolving design-related issues that may arise.
* Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of all design files and related engineering data.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external suppliers or customers when necessary.

 

Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
* Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, machining, stamping).
* Understanding of materials used in metal-mechanical manufacturing (e.g., steel, aluminum).
* Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
* Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
* Basic knowledge of simulation and finite element analysis (FEA) tools is a plus.

* Familiarity with industry standards and manufacturing regulations.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
* English proficiency (for global coordination, if applicable).
