Join a world of possibility with Aimbridge Hospitality. Responsibilities: The Engineer Apprentice provides mechanical skilled trade support as assigned the Chief Engineer on property. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: * Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience. * Performs work under direct supervision. * Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. * Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Inspects and performs mechanical installation/maintenance/repair on systems as required. * Troubleshoots and addresses repairs and maintenance. * Orders and organizes parts supplies and equipment necessary to complete jobs effectively. * Supports and assists Chief Engineer with estimating and invoicing. * Documents the installation/maintenance/repairs performed and ensures accordance with procedure. * Operates power tools and may use chemicals that require safety training.
