Overview:
Plans and monitors day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Ensure that CMDB records are updated. Must possess excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude. Must have knowledge and experience in ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
* Plans and monitors day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware
* Performs advanced-level on-site installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment
* Establishes and maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment
* Knowledge and experience in ServiceNow, CMDB.
* Must possess excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude.
* Communicates technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel
* Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades
* Participates in development of information technology and infrastructure projects
* Participates in training creation and conducts training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications
* Internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions
* Collaborates with the team regarding company-wide, web-enabled solutions
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree preferred
* 5-8 years of experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience with end user issues
* Demonstrated technical experience
* Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively on projects
* Demonstrated experience trouble shooting
* Broad knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications
* Experience developing new systems and tools
* Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures
* Advanced analytical skills
* Demonstrated Project Management skills
* Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
* Experience identifying and implement process improvements
