				Overview:

Now hiring a Employee Assistance Program Counselor

The EAP counselor provides clinical services, develops, and presents training programs, and delivers program support functions directly to eligible employee assistance program clients and program participants. Works in concert with EAP clinical and administrative staff on ways to improve efficiency and delivery of services. Provide EAP services at client on-site locations. A member of the EAP Clinical team. This hybrid (remote and office work) position delivers direct services to individuals and groups using clinical assessment, brief solution focused counseling, coaching, consulting, mediation, crisis response to community and business environments, and training. Assess clinical needs and triage clients to receive the proper support through skill building, case management, resourcing, and referrals for longer-term therapy. Services delivered in-person, telephonically, and/or via video.

Ideal Candidate: Masters degree in Counseling; Clinical Psychology; or Social Work, Required a minimum of LMHC or LMSW

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate on team projects to improve EAP service delivery to employees, companies, and business partners.
* Consultation with employees and organizations on a variety of workplace issues.
* Collaboration with Human Resources and organizational leaders to manage referrals to address employee job performance concerns.
* Clinical assessment for level of risk, substance abuse and dependency, and appropriate level of care.
* Facilitation of on-site services for work teams to debrief and provide psychological first aid following a workplace critical incident.
* Attendance at company health fairs,
* Presentation of EAP orientations to employees and managers
* Support and participation with team members to help build a high-performance team.
* Develop effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Masters degree in Counseling; Clinical Psychology; or Social Work is required.
* Required a minimum of LMHC or LMSW. Preferred: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD.
* Clinical training must include instruction on chemical dependency, mental health, and brief therapy.
* Certified Employee Assistance Professionals (CEAP); knowledge and experience in EAP Practice; or desire to become a CEAP preferred
* Prior experience working or consulting in a business environment or Employee Assistance Program preferred.
* Experience with Substance Abuse Assessment, Treatment Planning & Case Management preferred.
* Training and presentation skills preferred.
* Trained in Mediation and/or working experience as a mediator preferred.
* Bilingual, fluent Spanish speaking encouraged to apply.
* Microsoft Office
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skill
* Knowledge of HIPPA and the laws regarding the protections of client confidentiality consistent with acceptable professional standards, ethics and protocol, with special consideration to appropriate release of information and consent with workplace referrals.
* Knowledgeable about federal and state laws governing privacy, confidentiality, duty to warn, and child and elder abuse reporting requirements.
