Baudette, MN with a population of 935. Baudette is known as the Walleye Capital of the World. We are located just south of Lake of the Woods on State Highways 11 and 172. It is also located near Zippel Bay State Park and Beltrami Island State Forest. We have an attractive community in an area known for its year round fishing and many outdoor activities. CHI Lakewood Health is actively recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well established hospital in Baudette, Minnesota. We are privileged to serve residents from four counties, neighboring residents of Canada, as well as tourists that come from all over the world due to seasonal tourism and recreational activities. We are proud to offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 emergency room and hospitalist program, testing, surgery, an outpatient primary care clinic, a care center, rehabilitation, and more. This position supports our busy, ER-Hospitalist program
Essential Areas of Responsibility
- Provide care to patients of all ages - children to geriatrics
- Emergency Room consults, triage and medical care
- Round, admit and manage health needs of patients with a significant range of complex and co-morbid disease conditions
- Manages all inpatient care and provides prompt attention to all patients admitted to the hospital, including diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice)
- Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members for patients in the hospital and ER
- Employing quality and process improvement practices to make the hospital a safer place and improve patient outcomes
- Ten (10) shifts per month is full-time. Each 24-hour shift is unrestricted call and APPs can expect to provide 10-12 hours onsite patient care.

- A base salary $136,677-$151,065
