Responsibilities: As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Driving Patrol Role in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:45 PM - 11:30 PMFri02:45 PM - 11:30 PMSat02:45 PM - 11:30 PMSun02:45 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. * Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. * Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and support crowd management, loss prevention awareness, and/or de-escalation efforts during daily operations. * Maintain a visible presence while following all post orders and equipment protocols, reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience. * Be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Level III Armed Guard card is required in Texas only. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Participate in industry-specific security training programs. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
