Practice Highlights: * Weekly mix of clinic and lab responsibilities * EP call is taken in rotation with the EP team * Multi-discipline approach to EP care with the support of APCs, nurses, etc. Responsibilities: Summary: Presbyterian Hearth & Vascular program is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary Cardiology group of Non-Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Structural Cardiologists and CT Surgeons. This team plays a prominent role in New Mexico's cardiac care and has a goal of becoming recognized as the premier place for Cardiology care. The electrophysiology team is growing and provides an opportunity for growth, enhancement of skills, and an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques and technology * Must be BC/BE in Non-Invasive Cardiology and Electrophysiology * Full range of electrophysiology procedures and device implementation * Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow our practice * Patient-focused and enjoys working in a team environment * Performs with the knowledge, skills and abilities to support the execution of the full array of electrophysiology procedures in the clinic/laboratory setting. * Makes all professional judgments in the cardiac care of patients seen * Collaborates with colleagues in the management of patients, both in the hospital and outpatient settings * Manages and oversees the physician/patient relationship * Participates in system wide health management initiatives * Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards * Collaborates with referring and consulting providers to optimize patient experience * Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives * Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, literature review, in-services, and workshops * Performs other duties as required Other information: MD/DO Board-eligible or certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology.
