**This role currently offers a $2500.00 sign on bonus**

Responsibilities:

How you'll make an impact in this role 

* 
*  Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots hospital electronic systems (e.g., fire alarm, pneumatic tube, overhead paging, nurse call, security, video monitoring, and TV systems) to ensure reliable operation. 
*  Performs routine preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime and unexpected repairs. 
*  Coordinates new system installations and projects in partnership with Facilities leadership and external vendors. 
*  Maintains accurate service records and updates building maintenance systems with work performed. 
*  Orders and tracks replacement parts to ensure timely repairs and system continuity. 
*  Adheres to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and supports additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:             

* High School Diploma or equivalent -required.
* Associates degree in electronics, information technology, or related field OR 5 years of experience in the electronics field -required.

Fire Alarm Specialty License, Detroit Fitness, or Nicet License- preferred

Experience:              

* 2 years of related electronics experience- required.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.- required.

Competencies: 

* Must have excellent written communication skills.
* Must have the ability to detect electronic malfunctions and restore to normal quickly.
* Must have the ability to use electronic repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Must have the ability to effectively manage time complete many tasks assigned by the supervisor.
* Must be able to think critically and problem-solve.
* Must respect confidentiality while working around patients, physicians, co-workers, vendors and visitors.
