We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. #DekaCareers Wages starting at $35 $5,000 Sign On/Retention Bonus Opportunities primarily available on 2nd and 3rd shift. Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime. Responsibilities: Position Summary: The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery, equipment, and production lines. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment. * Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. * Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify the functionality of equipment. * Document repairs, calibrations, and part replacements in maintenance logs. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installs or modifications. * Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * *Maintains regular attendance. * *Ability to work mandatory over time. * Performs other duties as requested by Management. * Responsible for producing a high quality product. * Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices. * Equal Opportunity Employer. * *These tasks are considered essential elements of the job. Qualifications: Qualifications: * Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. * 2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics. * Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to bend, twist, do extensive walking, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand-eye coordination. * Must have a valid state driver's license. Preferred: * Experience with automation systems and robotic equipment. * Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g. Maintenance Technician Certification).
