About SPOG Trailers: SPOG Trailers manufactures enclosed solar-powered cargo, workstation, and specialty trailers for contractors and various commercial industries. Our trailers combine heavy-duty construction with solar power, battery storage, inverter systems, electrical distribution, HVAC, and custom equipment. We are expanding our manufacturing team and looking for an experienced Electrical & Solar Installation Technician to install and complete the electrical and solar power systems in our trailers.

Position Summary: The Electrical & Solar Installation Technician will work directly on the manufacturing floor installing electrical wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, solar panels, batteries, inverters, and other electrical components used in SPOG trailers. This is a hands-on position for someone with electrical experience who is comfortable wiring complete trailer electrical systems and working with solar and battery equipment.

Responsibilities:

*  Run electrical wiring throughout trailers. 

*  Install electrical panels, breakers, disconnects, and related components. 

*  Install interior and exterior outlets and receptacles. 

*  Install switches, LED lighting, and other electrical accessories. 

*  Install and wire 120V and 240V electrical systems as applicable. 

*  Install shore power and generator connections. 

*  Mount and install roof-mounted solar panels. 

*  Route and secure solar PV wiring. 

*  Install solar disconnects and related equipment. 

*  Install and connect battery storage systems. 

*  Install and connect inverters and associated electrical equipment. 

*  Install wiring for HVAC systems and trailer accessories. 

*  Properly terminate, label, secure, and organize electrical wiring. 

*  Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications. 

*  Test completed electrical systems for proper operation. 

*  Troubleshoot electrical and solar system issues.

*  Coordinate with welders, assemblers, carpenters, and other production team members. 

*  Maintain clean and professional electrical installations. 

*  Follow applicable electrical, manufacturing, and company safety requirements.

Qualifications:

*  Previous electrical installation experience required. 

*  Experience running wire and installing electrical equipment. 

*  Knowledge of electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting. 

*  Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. 

*  Experience using electrical testing equipment and electrical hand tools. 

*  Solar installation experience is strongly preferred. 

*  Battery and inverter installation experience is a plus. 

*  Experience with RVs, trailers, automotive electrical systems, solar systems, or mobile power systems is a plus. 

*  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

*  Ability to produce clean, organized, and professional electrical work. 

*  Comfortable working on trailer roofs for solar panel installation. 

*  Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team. 

*  Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. 

*  Strong attention to quality and safety.
