Electrical Lab Inspector must be able to set-up and perform dimensional and electrical tests for such purposes as quality control, process control, and product/material development 

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, shift availalbe 7:30am -4:00pm

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive): 

* Routinely perform dimensional, visual and electrical inspection of parts using various measuring devices to ensure compliance with specifications (methods and engineering drawings). 
* Analyze data/results and make decisions, including appropriate people in decision-making process when necessary. 
* Inspect powder release toroids and shield beads by evaluating and comparing results to current specifications.
* Use SPC including control charts, histograms, and Cpk's to assure specification requirements.  
* Hand wind toroids, rods, and other parts routinely.
* Maintain automated data acquisition systems including entering specifications, maintaining data, and providing assistance to Q.C. Inspectors.
* Evaluate problem parts.
* Prepare and maintain required inspection records.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
* 3 years training and/or related experience

  Preferred Education / Experience Requirements:

* Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate with 1 year training or experience
* Previous electrical lab experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:                                                                           

* Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical test equipment including LCR Meters, Q Meters, Impedance Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Calipers, Micrometers, etc.
* Working knowledge of PC / Computer including Windows, Excel, Word, etc. 
* Good communication, organization, and mathematical skills 
* Must be dependable, accurate and thorough
* Self-driven motivation to meet demanding time schedules
* Interpretation of specifications and part prints
* Ability to operate CMS / ERP system effectively
* Ability to use data collection/SPC and analyze data
