Description

If you are passionate about electronics and have hands-on experience or a formal education in electronics engineering, PCB design and embedded software development and you are interested in working as part of a close-knit, dynamic team developing sensors, monitors and other automation components for an expansive and varied customer base we'd love to talk with you!

Compensation: from $100,000/Year special consideration for candidates with preferred education and experience.

This is a Full-time position

Hours and Days: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the implementation of applications, principles, and algorithms required for new product designs.  

The Electronics Engineer develops circuit board designs utilizing nonlinear, active and passive electronic and electrical components. In addition to developing circuit board designs, the Electronic Engineer must support the fabrication of the printed circuit boards, circuit board assemblies, and final assemblies. This includes the ability to identify and replace obsolete components. You must be skilled in modifying and optimizing code, even with older programming languages, to ensure the continued functionality and performance of electronic systems.  

Qualifications:

Required Education: Associates degree or three to four years' experience in a related field.

Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering.

Required Experience:

* Associates degree or three to four years' experience in a related field.
* Experience in PCB design and embedded software design.
* Proficient in translating Engineering concepts into clear and concise technical documentation for various audiences, demonstrating a strong command of technical writing principles and industry-specific terminology.
* Able to use MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.

Preferred Experience:

* Proficient in Microchip MPLab development
* Good understanding of Microchip PIC microcontrollers.
* Able to program in Assembly, Basic and  C++.
* Advanced understanding of industry code standards, including but not limited to, UL standards and National Electric Code.
