Responsibilities:
At IPS, As a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead, you'll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects. Working with diverse, high-performing teams, you'll help deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards. We'll support your growth and empower you to take ownership of your career. This role is site based in Belgium.
In this role, you will lead construction site activities in the cleanroom environment, manage all field operations, and take primary responsibility for site safety.
Additional Responsibilities
* Lead /manage the entire lifecycle of the HV project, from design/ planning/ construction/ technical compliance, through to commissioning and handover.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Have a strong analytical and problem-solving ability and approach.
* Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for complex HV systems.
* Leading technical teams, coordinating with stakeholders, Designers, utility companies, and contractors.
* Manage the design process and review/approvals process.
* Manage adherence to the regional HV regulatory bodies.
* Manage project risks and ensure compliance with local safety and quality standards.
* A strong understanding of (HSE) health/safety/environment principles within the context of HV operations and projects.
* Have strong experience delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
* Bring an engineering or construction background, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
* Understand utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree.
* Previous cleanroom experience is a necessity.
* Extensive experience in a Construction Management role.
* Must have previous Pharmaceutical, BioPharmaceutical, or Life Science construction management experience.
