				Overview:

St. Lukes Health-Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Since 2008 our experienced doctors nurses and support staff have provided expert care to support our community.

Responsibilities:

Lead Technologist in the Echo / Imaging departments in the absence of the manager of operations. Responsibilities
include: performing Echocardiograms, Stress Echo's and assisting in TEE's exams on patients, coordination of staff,
training of new staff/students, maintaining and updating protocols and new techniques, problem analysis, participating
on committees, utilizing quality control and quality assurance techniques to ensure image quality is maintained. Works
collaboratively with the supervisor to ensure all exams are completed and financial requirements and support
documentation are appropriately processed.

1. Prepares and problem solves equipment and failures ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning
according to diagnostic standards

2. Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained

3. Completes all clinical supply inventories, ensuring that each diagnostic room is complete with the necessary supplies
required to perform the procedure.

4. Manages the coordination of the department workflow.

5. Maintains and updates the protocol techniques as needed by interacting closely with the Medical Director.

Qualifications:

Required:

*Associate's Degree OR one year certificate as Registry in
Cardiac Sonography

*Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical
Sonographers (ARDMS);

*Must be registered as RDCS OR Registered by Cardiovascular
Credentialing International (CCI) as RCS OR American Registry
for Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Advanced Registry in either
CT, MR, IR

*Five (5) years of related experience
