What You Can Expect:

* Schedule: Full-Time, Special Weekend Shift, Friday-Monday, 10 hour shifts with special weekend shift pay differential applied! 
* 8hr or 10hr shift
* Participate in call rotation with minimal call back rates
* Workload: 6-7 patients per day in an 8-hr. shift and 7-9 patient in a 10-hr. shift 
* Equipment: Epic CVx and Canon Aplio 500
* EPIC medical Record 
* Phillips Intellispace Cardiovascular reporting system
* Patient population: Adult, Pediatric, and Congenital
* Inpatient and outpatients 
* Strong Safety and People-Centric Culture

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

* Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of
* Licenses/Certifications:
* American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification. 
* Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification (ARDMS).

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for preparing patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures. Explain procedures to patients.
* Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and records necessary for interpretation of the study(s).
* Perform Saline Contrast Study (bubble studies) as necessary.
* Provide necessary reports and maintain echo records, charges, and files.
* Maintain equipment and supplies.
* Ensure the proper exam is being performed. Consult provider as needed.
* Participate in call rotation as assigned.
* May lead and mentor others, acting as the first point of escalation. Performs the most advanced tasks with little to no supervision.
* Performs advanced ECHO procedures (e.g. TEE, 3-D, etc).
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
* Experience: 0 years' relevant experience.
* Licenses/Certifications:
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
* Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification (ARDMS).
