ETL/SQL Engineer (Remote)

				Overview:

GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled ETL/SQL Engineer to support the management and maintenance of the Veterans Affairs IT infrastructure. This role manages data models and database systems, optimizing storage, retrieval, and implementation processes. This position leads database architecture, resolves advanced issues, and drives performance enhancements. This position will be fully remote located within the United States. 

Responsibilities:

* Adhere to data quality best practices, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all datasets.
* Maintain and manage data domains, fostering structured and efficient data organization.
* Oversee daily operations, monitoring processes to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
* Integrate data from multiple sources, creating unified views that enhance decision-making and insights.
* Develop and refine VistA tables, ensuring ongoing updates and improvements for enhanced usability.
* Support both existing and new ETL processes, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
* Facilitate data distribution, optimize accessibility and usability across relevant systems and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience :

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field. 
* 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional expertise. 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.  
* Certifications in relevant technologies.  

Clearance Required:  Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
