About Us: We were established in 2006 with the sole purpose of offering the English language to English learners. The first center opened in Chongqing back in 2006. Since then we have grown to over 2000 teaching and administrative employees nationwide - this includes 350 Foreign English teachers and 400 local Chinese English teachers. We have successfully taught more than 60,000 students since 2006. Each center occupies 1000-2000㎡ and is equipped with state of the art equipment. This includes a coffee bar, theater, library, lab area with many computers with internet access and spacious classrooms that allow students to study in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Our R&D center in Shenzhen currently has over 100 course developers possessing masters or doctorate degrees - the curriculum is unique, extremely effective and known throughout China as an enjoyable and practical way to acquire the English language. About Wuhan City: Wuhan has and exciting history but is also now a fast-developing modern city complete with Western style restaurants, bars and shopping. These areas are interestingly juxtaposed with remnants of the past. Parks featuring ancient Chinese architecture, bustling night markets and hutongs (alleyways) with cheap food, drinks and shopping have helped retain the unique flavor and history of the city. The cost of living in Wuhan is very low; it costs just CNY 2 for a beer, CNY 3 for a bowl of noodles and CNY 1.5 for a bus ticket. Wuhan is a foodie's delight - foods such as hot dry noodles (reganmian) and soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) are famous across the province. One of the best things about Wuhan is that it is connected to all major transportation lines throughout the country. There's a high speed train to Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Nanjing and Guangzhou so a short trip on the weekend is fast and convenient. There are also sleeper trains that connect to virtually every other major city in China. About the Job: Responsibilities of a foreign trainer: -25 teaching hours + 10 office hours per week in terms of the contract -Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity, interest, and abilities of students. -Guides the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals, establishes and communicates clear objectives to the students for all lessons, units, and projects. -Supports specialized ESL assessments. Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, provides progress reports as required. -Is familiar with our teaching philosophy and course curriculum About You: -Outstanding personal/interpersonal communication skills; openness towards cross culture environments. -Experience with technology in facilitating instruction. -Excellent organizational and neatness skills enthusiastic in teaching. -Willingness to be flexible in terms of teaching assignment within the school setting Qualifications: -Bachelor Degree or above -TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate (preferred) -Teaching Experience (preferred) -Native English Speaker from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK or United States -Below 55 years old (for Chinese visa purposes) -Clean criminal record Offer Package: -Competitive salary CNY 8,000 - 11,500/month (commensurate with experience and qualifications) -Accommodation allowance -International airfare allowance -Sponsor Work visa and support the application procedure -Medical and accidental insurance -Opportunity for quarterly bonus and other performance based incentives -Sponsored TEFL/TESOL Certificate for candidates who don't already possess one -Excellent opportunity for growth within the organization.
