Job Description: School: *Public school in Yanjiao (just outside of Beijing) Title: *Position: ESL Teacher (Kindergarten, Primary, Middle or Senior High School) Standard Qualifications for Position: *Bachelor's degree from an accredited university *Native English speaker from Canada, the United Kingdom or the United States is preferred *Minimum 1 year post-graduate teaching experience and 2 years total work experience *TEFL/CELTA certificate *22-53 years old (for visa purposes) *Excellent physical and mental health *A clean criminal record About You: *You have outstanding personal/interpersonal communication skills and openness towards cross-cultural environments *You have sound analytical and problem-solving skills *You have a high degree of self-motivation Responsibilities of the position: *Teach 20 classes per week - classes are in the daytime, Monday - Friday *Prepare lesson plans, and implement classes *Professionalism in oral and written communications *Attend scheduled faculty meetings *Ability to relocate to China for a 12 month contract Salary and benefits: *Salary of CNY 11,500 - 13,500/month (inclusive of base salary and housing allowance) *Hourly salary up to an additional CNY 4,000/mo (depending on hours taught) *Paid annual leave (11 days paid for Chinese holidays, plus paid personal leave days) *Summer and winter holidays *Sponsor Work visa and support the application procedure *Medical and accident insurance *Free meals during working hours *Annual salary increase of CNY 5,000 (caps at CNY 50,000) *Full arrival support and induction training *Ongoing professional development and academic training How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: Your resume/CV A recent photograph Scan copy of your passport information page Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
