One California Responsibilities: The Emergency RN is a professional who provides, plans, and directs care to individuals and families based on the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team. Qualifications: Minimum: * Current California RN license * One (1) year of experience as an Emergency Department RN within the last five (5) years. (exception - when staffing is able to accommodate training management will consider RNs with less experience). * BLS certification * ACLS certification (or within 3 months of hire) * PALS certification (or within 3 months of hire) * Must obtain NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
