Job Purpose:

As an EPS Technical Training Manager at Voltyx, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our field service teams. Your primary focus will be on equipping technicians with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively work with a diverse range of electrical equipment and testing. This includes, but is not limited to, Power Factor, Ductor, Megger, CT ratio & saturation, Hi-Pot, Circuit Breakers, Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage (LV/MV/HV), Transformers, Switchgear, Motors, PT's & CCVT's, Cables, and more, as identified or needed.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and Deliver Training Programs:
* Create comprehensive training curriculum for the specified equipment, ensuring coverage of theoretical knowledge and practical application. 
* Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for field service technicians.

* Hands-On Training:
* Provide hands-on training to technicians on the proper usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical equipment.

* Continuous Improvement:
* Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
* Collect feedback from field service teams to continuously improve and enhance training curriculum and methods.

* Documentation:
* Develop training materials, including elearning, job aids, videos, participant guides, and work with instructional design teams for other blended methods.
* Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant feedback and evaluation of curriulum, and performance assessments.

* Collaboration:
* Work closely with the operations and safety/quality teams to understand specific training needs and customize curriculum accordingly.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Proven experience as a field service coach with passion for teaching others or in a similar role.
* In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Power Factor, Ductor, Megger, CT ratio & saturation, Hi-Pot, Circuit Breakers, Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, High Voltage (LV/MV/HV), Transformers, Switchgear, Motors, PT's & CCVT's, Cables, etc.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both written and verbal. 
* Ability to travel to Voltyx Academy to serve as facilitator/instructor.
* Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
* Self-directed, and team player

Preferred:

* Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Prior experience in developing training materials and programs or instructor in our industry.
* People management experience.
