				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Promotes quality and continuity of care by performing clinical and clerical duties, providing physician and/or nurse assistance, maintaining supplies, and provides effective communication to achieve Infirmary Health's standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

* Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program
* Working knowledge of all EMT functions

Licensure/Registration/Certification: 

* BLS
* Alabama EMT License
* Emergency Medical Technician (EMT level) certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)
