Job Description:
Primary school teaching positions have the benefit of a light teaching load. You will only have about 16 to 24 classes over a five-day week. Most of the openings do not require office hours, which means you'll have plenty of time to pursue other interests, or to take on private tuition. Class sizes may be larger than in training schools - you may find classes are between 25 and 40 students.

ESL Teacher (Secondary Grades 6-12)
Locations:
*Various locations across Zhejiang Province; the greater Hangzhou area
*Chengdu, Sichuan Province
*Jiangsu Province
*Guangdong Province
Responsibilities:
Teach classes of 30-70 students
15-20 classes weekly (40-45 minutes each); no more than 22 hours per week
Teaching oral English, preparing class activities, preparing oral exams for students
Monday - Friday (weekends off)
Requirements:
Native English speaker from United States, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Teaching experience is preferred
TEFL/TESOL certification
A clean criminal record
Excellent physical and mental health
Must be able to commit to a one-year contract

Remuneration:
CNY 5,000-8,000/month (depends on location; commensurate with the teacher's qualifications and experience)
