				Overview:

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO). We provide Phase I-IV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Responsibilities:

* Draft, implement and follow up on prevention plans (annual action plan, global prevention plan),
* Identify, evaluate and report possible risks in the context of a safe working environment. Perform risk assessments and work together with different departments to implement improvements,
* Advise on a range of specialist areas. (e.g., fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases),
* Responsible for following up and analyzing work accidents and propose measures to reduce the number of accidents,
* Overviewing safety requirements and compliance during projects, both with internal and external partners,
* Follow up with company leadership and employees on prevention related topics,
* Organize trainings for employees and management on different health, safety, and security related topics,
* Provide insight and guidance for purchasing to ensure safety and ergonomics are key focus for furniture, fixtures and other work related equipment,
* Responsible for staying current and informed on recent evolutions regarding welfare legislation and be able to summarize action steps needed to leadership for consideration,
* Keep all mandatory HSE documents up to date for assigned offices and laboratories,
* Participate in consultative bodies where needed (CPBW),
* Follow up with contractors and vendors to make sure they follow all HSE guidelines,
* Organize and follow up, together with EPA, on all mandatory health check ups,
* Support Facilities staff in other European countries with health and safety advice on office environments and construction projects,
* Develop policies and procedures to help Medpace reduce its environmental footprint.
* Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

* Diploma preventieadviseur niveau 1/ niveau 2, ( If you're a prevention advisor level 2, we offer you the opportunity to take the training to obtain Level 1).
* If you're a prevention advisor level 2, you need to have 5 years of relevant experience in well-being at work. 
* Exceptional communication skills, Fluent in Dutch & English,
* Responsible and flexible attitude,
* Experience working in a matrix team environment, cross-functional coordination,
* Ability to analyze processes and data and make recommendations for process improvements and defining program goals and guidelines,
* Ability to work both independently and across a local and remote team.
