As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech), you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at St. Anthony Hospital. Your primary duties will involve:

* Applying electrodes in accordance with ACNS guidelines.
* Perform prescribed testing.
* Review patient history and educate patients about the EEG procedure.
* Monitor and document patients' conditions, and promptly respond to any reports and adverse reactions.
* Edit and forward results to attending physicians for analysis and interpretation. 

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Required: 

* High School Diploma or GED.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association. 
* Successful completion of EEG registry within 2 years of hire date.
* Physical Requirements: Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

Highly Preferred: 

* Previous work experience in providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient settings.
* Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
* Associates Degree.
