Responsibilities:

As an EEG Tech, you will perform diagnostic Electroencephalography, seizure monitoring, and evoked potential recordings of the brain or central nervous system per physician orders and established protocols.

Every day you will prepare patients, ensure a safe testing environment, execute studies, observe and document results, and monitor equipment, all under direct healthcare provider supervision.

To be successful, you will possess thorough knowledge of EEG equipment, continuously update your skills, and actively participate in quality assurance programs to uphold diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.

* Performs and records EEG procedures under direct supervision of a licensed health care provider.
* Prepares the EEG record for analysis and interpretation.
* Completes all required documentation in accordance with department protocol.
* Maintains laboratory with supplies and keeps equipment in clean operating condition.

Qualifications:

Required

* Two years of work experience in a medical field and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred

* Graduation from an accredited neurophysiologic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and/or Registry in an Electroneurodiagnostics (END) discipline, upon hire
* Registered EEG Technologist, upon hire
