Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision the incumbent may be (depending on the daily assignment and vehicle) responsible for: The Transportation of seniors and mobility-impaired persons and/or the delivery of bulk food and/or the delivery of Home Delivered Meals to qualified customers in a courteous and efficient manner in accordance with guidelines of PSA 2, Area Agency on Aging. The incumbent is responsible for keeping vehicles in a sanitary condition, conducting daily inspection of vehicles and reporting any needed repairs to leadership. The position reports to the Manager of Operations.

Qualifications:

* Two (2) years driving experience required
* High School Diploma or related work experience in lieu of diploma
* Must have a valid California Driver's License free of citations for moving violations for a period of three years prior to date of application; Depending on which assignment and vehicle will be the employee must have a valid California B-Passenger Endorsement California Driver's License
* Must be familiar with areas of Shasta County, particularly Cottonwood, Anderson, Happy Valley, Redding, Shasta Lake and/or the Intermountain area
* Shall have knowledge of project vehicle operations and routine vehicle maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

* BLS Certification through the American Heart Association may be required
