				Responsibilities:

*  Stationed outside, creates a secure and hospitable presence at the main entrance of the hotel. 

*  While standing, greet guests and welcomes them to the hotel at the front door or curb upon arrival

*  Directs guests to the Front Desk while acquainting them to the hotel, making mention of available services and facilities of the hotel.

*  Gives directions and provides important information about the hotel when asked. 

*  Calls taxi for guests as needed.

*  Loads the baggage in the cars or taxis for departing guests, thanking them for choosing our hotel.

*  Maintains a clean and orderly appearance of the work area at all times.

*  Controls the traffic flow in and out of the lobby.

*  Notifies the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals whenever possible.

*  Tags the baggage with the proper claim checks and gives the guest his/her claim ticket for the baggage.

*  Unloads the baggage from the car or taxi and brings it inside to the Bell Stand.

*  Assists the Bell Captain with all luggage storage and retrieval.

Qualifications:

*  Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

*  Candidate must have excellent guest service, and communication skills.

*  Previous hotel experience preferred.

*  Excellent customer service is required.

*  Ability to stand for eight hours at a time and able to lift up to 50lbs.

Pay: $16.50/hour. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience.
