Responsibilities:

The Distribution Supervisor manages, leads, and coordinates warehouse staff to deliver extraordinary results. Functional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to receiving, packing, cycle counting, and shipping DISH inventory to support organizational goals and objectives. Safety compliance, quality awareness, process efficiency, and employee satisfaction are key performance metrics. Duties are accomplished personally or through subordinate supervisory staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to warehouse and distribution staff
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
* Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback
* Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
* Resolve employee conflicts and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner
* Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational demands

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
* At least three years of experience in an Inventory Control role within a warehouse or distribution environment

* Strong leader with management experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Customer service focus
* Flexibility, innovation and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
* Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization
* Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
* Ability to manage all personnel decisions (hiring, performance appraisals, terminations, etc.) in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
