CORT Furniture Rental is a national, Berkshire Hathaway company, that provides furniture rental solutions to residential and workplace customers. 

Are you an expert problem solver? Do you love the world of customer service? If so, this is the job for you! We're seeking an experienced call center and/or dispatch representative!

Our Centralized Dispatch Team is currently overseeing the Route Planning and Execution for a growing number of our nationwide district operations.  As a Dispatcher, you will oversee a team of up to 15 - 25 Delivery Managers (Box Truck Drivers) and Delivery Assistants.  You will be responsible for setting their daily plan and supervising their activities from the time they depart their local warehouse until they return at the end of their day.  Success comes from effectively monitoring each truck's progress, troubleshooting any issues and communicating with internal and external customers.  We strive to provide the perfect customer experience with each client.  

This is an onsite position performed from a CORT office in Moorestown, NJ. 

Pay: $20 - $22 / hour depending on experience. This position is also eligible for CORT's Performance Sharing Plan (PSP) bonus plan.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM; some flexibility or overtime may be required.

Responsibilities:

* Provide updates and communications using timely 2-way electronic communication: E-Mail, ERP System, Descartes, Telephone, and Text
* Urgently resolve issues that prevent or delay our Truck Teams from completing their daily service requirements in a way that will not compromise the expectations of any other client
* Track trucks and monitor progress using automated tools
* Communicate consistently, and in a timely manner, with the Delivery Managers, Operations, Sales and Customers regarding the daily routes
* Be able to plan and execute truck routes by use of our Descartes Routing Software
* Complete Delivery/Pickup Pre-calls for Customers being serviced the next day
* Manage and track day-to-day flow of all trucks and routes to ensure delivery windows are met

Qualifications:

* At least 6 months of professional dispatching experience preferred
* Previous employment working in a high-volume call center
* At least 5 years of customer service experience
* Utilization of Microsoft Office and Outlook
* Technical savviness with software and email (typing more than 40wpm)
* The ability to multitask is a must
