Overview:
To supervise the day-to-day operation of the stewarding department for a given shift, ensuring control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks
Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and supervising efficient work procedures and schedules
* Delivering clean cookware and tableware to our various outlets and meeting rooms
* Cleaning all cookware and tableware to meet Omni's high sanitation standards
* Assisting in the resolution of various associate issues
* Efficiently coordinating service by organizing supplies in the appropriate location
* Ensuring and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards by ensuring furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to restaurant specifications.
Qualifications:
* Previous hospitality stewarding experience preferred.
* Commitment to providing exceptional customer service with a can-do attitude
* Ability to multi-task, including pushing and pulling objects and carts of varying weights without assistance
* Ability to remain active in a fast paced environment, including standing for 8+ hour per day
* Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
* Experience in similar supervisory roles is preferred, minimum 1 year.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavy weight.
* Must have Food Handlers certification
