Work. Explore. at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! Job Summary: Lead in proper cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, utensils and glassware. The Details: Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round Pay: $16.40 per hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Grand Canyon South Rim? Responsibilities: * Responsible for sanitation and maintenance of kitchen area including the back dock area. * Proper storage and rotation of all perishable food items, and rotation of non-perishables as well using the first in, first out rotation practice. * Keep back dock orderly and clean, stack milk crates, bread cases, empty beer kegs, breakdown cardboard boxes, spray down dock as required. * Endure outside area of kitchen is clean and litter free. * Do super cleaning of kitchen area including floors, mats, walls, hood filters and dish machines. * Assist Kitchen Utility personnel as needed. * Maintain ServeSafe HACCP food sanitation program standards. * Wear required personal protective equipment while performing job. * Adhere to all safety and risk management policies while performing job. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Knowledge of dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment. * Physical ability to stand for long periods of time. * Physical ability to lift thirty pounds of food product to shoulder height.
