Job Summary:

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for directing and managing Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse Operations to establish a secure supply chain which meets the needs of the field operations. Yellowstone Purchasing supports a high volume and remote hospitality operation with an internal warehousing and distribution operation and this role is responsible for managing the supply chain process from the vendor to the end user.

The Details:
Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: Salary will be discussed during the interview process
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

* Oversees the overall operations and staff of Purchasing and Receiving departments, setting and monitoring operational goals and performance metrics (KPIs)

* Develops demand forecasts, manages inventory levels across multiple locations, and ensures accurate receiving and documentation

* Collaborates with F&B Operations, Culinary, and Suppliers to align purchasing plans, demand forecasts, and inventory management

* Leads local sourcing initiatives using corporate supply chain processes, ensuring alignment with national and regional sourcing strategies

* Maintains accurate procurement and inventory records, including purchases, receipts, shipments, and physical inventories

* Manages supplier relationships professionally and ethically, negotiating favorable pricing, service, and quality while providing vendor performance feedback

* Directs staffing, training, and performance management for Purchasing and Warehouse teams, ensuring compliance with procedures and accuracy in systems

* Oversees capital expenditure purchases, including bid solicitation, vendor coordination, payment processing, and asset documentation

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum 7 years of Purchasing leadership & team management experience in hospitality or food service related industries; additional experience in front of house operations is a plus
* Well established communication and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to be proactive in anticipating and mitigating risk factors and operational requirements
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully execute multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Extensive knowledge of procurement processes in an automated Procurement and Inventory Management system
* Solid analytic skills, including price/cost analysis, demand planning establishing PAR levels, etc
* Technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

Physical Requirements include:

* Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time. Job can be very laborious when assisting in and training warehouse operations.
