				Overview:

The Director of Sales is responsible for managing all facets of the Tarnished Truth Coastal Cocktails wholesale business in all territories in which it distributes products. Additionally, this role is responsible for all sales and marketing plans, strategies, goals, and reporting. This position is responsible for all sales representatives and the development of goals, objectives, KPI's, and management of those representatives. The Director of Sales is responsible for all distributor relations, communications, and expansion. It is the responsibility of this role to develop Key/National accounts strategies and execution. Inherent in this responsibility is representing the standard of excellence our brand has set in product quality, execution, relationship management and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  Develops a comprehensive sales plan with marketing strategies for each product line, customer demographic analysis, sales forecasts, and growth strategies. The sales plan will also examine pricing structure, revenue goals, sales locations, customer retention strategies, advertising avenues, and sales team activities.

  Manage pricing strategies, QD's, Promotional programming, and CO-OP marketing in all geographies.

  Identify new markets and distributors and develop go-to market strategies.

  Hiring, training and management of all sales staff

  Travel as needed to call on account buyers and wholesalers in all states and territories where products are distributed.

  Analyze customer demographics, IRI date and market trends to develop sales and marketing strategies.

  Present sales reports to management that range from marketing plans to detailed sales analysis reports.

  Develop training plan for existing and future sales team and benchmark KPIs for incentive payouts.

  Work in conjunction with the marketing teams to produce advertising and marketing materials. Once a plan for promotional materials has been developed, they must ensure it is correctly executed.

  Drive distributor relationships.

  Conduct regular business reviews with distributor partners to monitor performance against annual, quarterly, monthly goals and develop plans to adapt to current market challenges, opportunities, trends, etc.

  Assist in developing annual budgets and responsible for working within that budget.

Qualifications:

Type / Qualification
Experience A bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent job experience in the consumer products industry.
Experience A minimum of 5-8 years sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry (Wine & Beer specific preferred) with a minimum of 3- 5 years of experience selling to Off-Premise Independent Chain, Regional Chain, and/or National Accounts.
Skill Must have excellent working knowledge and demonstration of skills related to distributor process, national accounts, achieving results, market analytics, inventory management, market trends, retail execution, forecasting and budgeting
Skill Proven leadership credentials and results in team management and sales growth over a period of 5+ years
Skill Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).
Skill Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Skill Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals with a minimum of direction.
Skill Proven analytical skills and understanding of syndicated data and its applicability to beverage alcohol categories is required.
Skill Computer literacy with the ability to learn and use various software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Skill Demonstrated technical skills required for the preparation of professional and effective sales presentations.
Skill Ability to use Business Information Tools such as Compass, IQ, VIP/IDig.
Skill Ability to travel a minimum of 35% of his/her working time, including up to 6 hour's driving time.
