Director of Marketing The company is looking to hire a Director of Marketing for the operation of a retail center in Saskatchewan. This exciting opportunity comes from a leader of the Saskatchewan Fashion Industry. The company prides themselves on the corporate culture they have achieved over their many successful years in business. This opportunity is within a collaborative work environment, with the Marketing Director officially reporting to the General Manager. The Director of Marketing will lead a team including a Marketing Assistant, and the customer service representative(s). The ideal candidate for this role would have experience within Marketing, Advertising and Sales with a career focus on fashion and retail. We're looking for a creative individual who can offer expertise in the design, strategy, and implementation of an annual marketing plan. The ultimate goal of the individual would be to increase customer traffic and drive sales for the company. The company is highly dedicated to the community and is looking for an ambassador to represent them with all involvement efforts including special events, community relations, volunteering efforts and all media relations. Social media is the forefront of the marketing campaign, we want someone who has an innovative and unique approach and will represent the company as so. Responsibilities: * Develop and Implement an annual Marketing Plan * Work in collaboration with the Marketing and Customer Service teams, providing direction in order to fulfil the annual marketing plan * Develop and implement all promotional materials, activities, special events, product merchandising, etc. * Be an active member of the community and act as a brand ambassador for the company * Create and develop advertising campaigns, social media content (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.) * Collaborate with various vendors for advertising, events, public relations, and community partnerships * Lead Marketing and Customer Service teams Qualifications: * Marketing experience directly related to fashion / retail with a minimum of 5 years of experience * Knowledge of the fashion market in Saskatchewan including potential retailers * Excellent knowledge of social media platforms * Experience managing outside agencies (advertising, public relations, vendors, etc.) * Experience with advertising including: radio, print, digital marketing, etc. * Strong negotiation skills * Strong leadership skills, while still ensuring the working environment is creative and collaborative * Highly creative, innovative, a real "outside of the box" thinker * Understanding of all Microsoft applications, able to use creative software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, etc. Please apply directly online or submit your resume to Lucy Skjarstad, lskjarstad@talentcor.ca.
