Responsibilities:

SUMMARY

The Director of Digital Communications will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our digital communication strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive brand loyalty. This role will oversee all aspects of our CRM efforts, ensuring that our messaging is consistent, targeted, and effective across various digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

* Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing objectives.
* Lead the CRM team in creating and managing targeted email marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and other digital communication efforts.
* Analyze customer data and engagement metrics to inform strategy and optimize communication efforts.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer communications.
* Manage the budget for digital communications initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital communications and CRM.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the CRM team, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Five or more years of experience in a database marketing leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience leading Social Media, Digital Marketing, Special Events, Promotions, Database Marketing, and Casino marketing or relative functional area preferred.  Knowledge of the casino industry, including technology, products and services offered in a multi-jurisdictional environment required.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital communication strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

* Must have comprehensive knowledge of copy development, including overall organization, direct fact checking, appropriate referring, fair balance, and other regulatory requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with SQL, Tableau, or other Database/ Analytical tools
* Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering collaboration and innovation. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Advanced knowledge of Hotel property management system, gaming system, and other related technology tools highly preferred

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                                     

This job has supervisory responsibilities.

* Responsible for staff development and training programs.
* Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
* Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
* Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs. 
* Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
* Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
