				Overview:

Oversee the Catering/Convention Services Department by ensuring a consistent product to standards, while maximizing profitability and protecting the integrity of the guest experience. 

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for planning, evaluating, organizing, and directing the activities of the Senior Convention Services Manger, Convention Services Manager, Convention Services Coordinator, Catering Managers and Catering Assistant.
* Reviews BEO's, oversees Distro process, ensures correct paperwork is being sent/communicated clearly to the operation
* Responsible for anticipating needs, forecasting results, analyzing and arranging work processes for personnel in the department.
* Participates in the final interview process and is responsible for hiring all departmental personnel.
* Establishes and maintains rapport with outside purveyors, who provide services for the Hotel and its guests through the Catering & Convention Services Department.
* Establishes and maintains efficient office procedures to facilitate the smooth operation of the department.
* Ensure catering and banquet sales meet budgeted levels.
* Ensure smooth flow of information (communication) from Sales to Banquet Services and the Food & Beverage Division.
* Accurately forecasts banquet and catering revenues and covers as well as AV revenue on a daily/weekly/monthly and annual basis.
* Prepare performance benchmarks for Catering & CS Managers on monthly/quarterly basis.

Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of Hotel Sales/Catering experience required
* College degree preferred.
* Knowledge of the operations of the hotel industry.
* Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshot when needed.
* Must have proven selling, negotiating and presentation skills.
* Highly developed customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Delphi experience preferred.
* The ability to delegate, effectively train and coach.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: $140,000-$150,000

The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate's qualifications and/or experience
