Responsibilities:

Valuation Directors must demonstrate the ability to manage and supervise other team members and must possess strong technical knowledge of tax planning and compliance, financial reporting, acquisitions and mergers, and commercial reorganization. Valuation Directors develop client service plans, identify and implement opportunities for clients, and manage and supervise other team members.  They are responsible for managing the execution of multiple client engagements, all facets of client issues, and communicating with clients and financial management. Directors must possess and maintain strong written and oral presentation skills and conduct and/or review research on various client issues. Valuation Directors mentor Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree preferred;
* Advanced credential required (i.e. CPA, JD, CFP or CFA);
* At least 10 years relevant work experience with an accounting firm, including at least 4-5 years of Valuation experience, preferably with a public accounting firm;
* Proven leadership and strong organizational skills;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator;
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and
* Proficient use of technology including MS Excel.
