				Overview:

As the Director of the Nonprofit Division at AmTrust Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in building our second new business team, driving the overall success of the division by overseeing top and bottom-line results, leading product development initiatives, fostering strong agency relationships, and strategically managing profitable growth. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in the nonprofit sector.

This role will require hybrid attendance in one of our AmTrust office locations.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

* Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Nonprofit Division in alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
* Provide insightful leadership to the division, guiding the team towards achieving financial targets and sustainable growth.

Financial Performance:

* Take ownership of the division's financial performance, with a focus on achieving and exceeding top and bottom-line results.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve financial outcomes.

Product Development:

* Lead the development and enhancement of insurance products tailored for the nonprofit sector.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure the division's product offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Agency Relationships:

* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key agency partners to drive business development and retention efforts.
* Collaborate with agencies to understand market needs and tailor solutions that meeting the unique requirements of nonprofit organizations.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.

Team Leadership:

* Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
* Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

* Ensure that all divisional activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements and mitigate compliance risks.

Qualifications:

* Proven track record of successfully managing top and bottom-lines results in a leadership capacity.
* Extensive experience in commercial underwriting, ideally nonprofit/human services accounts
* Strong knowledge of product development, underwriting principles, and insurance market dynamics.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

The expected salary range for this role is $131K-$185K/year.
