Develops, administers and directs strategic and tactical operational activities and programs directly related to trauma services, injury prevention and outreach for the operating group. Evaluates patient care services to reduce gaps in service and overcome barriers to cost effective patient care. Ensures that all regulatory and accreditation requirements and standards are met including the State Department of Public Health and Environment and the American College of Surgeons requirements. Responsible for daily operations at designated facilities and the achievement of standards related to quality care, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and fiscally responsible care delivery.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: 

* Seven years of trauma, emergency and/or critical care experience required.
* Four years of previous leadership experience required.
* Experience with trauma registry and coding, preferred.
* Understands national, regional, state and local trauma considerations.
* Excellent communication, proven leadership and management skills.
* Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field or actively enrolled in a Master's degree program with a completion date within 3 years of hire required.
* Membership to a related professional organization preferred (Society of Trauma Nurses, Emergency Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Air and Surface Transport Nurses, preferred.
* Current state of employment RN license required.

Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
