We're seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacy Director to lead strategy, operations, and clinical excellence across our oncology pharmacy services systemwide. What You Can Expect:
* Provide day-to-day oversight of the pharmacy team.
* Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to pharmacy team. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
* Assist in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement quality assurance standards, performance improvement activities.
* Serve as clinical mentor and provide clinical pharmacy leadership to pharmacists in their daily patient care functions.
* Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies.
* Develop, monitor and work effectively within established budgets.
* Lead within organizational structures to improve medication use outcomes through clinical pharmacy services, staffing deployment and technology.
* Work closely with hospital leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams.
* Coordinate implementation of strategic goals, projects, and programs affecting the department.
* Serve as designated accountable leader for the organization (i.e. PIC, RPD) as assigned by role and scope of responsibility.
* Develop new clinical programs or service lines.
Required Qualifications:
*
* Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
* 5 years' experience (MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of 2 years exp.)
* Valid Pharmacist License in state of practice
Preferred Qualifications:
*
* Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
* Completion of a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency or equivalent oncology pharmacy experience
* Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification
Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Director is responsible for directing pharmacy services to ensure effective delivery of pharmaceutical care to patient and customers of the medical center. The scope of responsibility for the Pharmacy Director includes operational responsibility for larger facilities (>100 beds) or multiple departments and service line responsibilities that span across the health system.

Qualifications:
* Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
* Experience: 5 years' experience (MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of 2 years exp.)
