Responsibilities:
As our Director Nursing Rehab Care at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital you will be responsible for the Acute Rehab department. Our department is a 20 bed complex unit with patients requiring a high level of nursing and therapy care. In this role you will lead upwards of 60 staff and will have a supportive role with all ancillary staff. You will direct the operations, work with the executive leadership team on key initiatives, and work with other front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care and patient experience
We are looking for an experienced manager/director, with a track record of success overseeing acute rehabilitation services. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. You will tackle tough conversations, and above all, be an educator at heart. Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
* Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required.
* Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience required.
Required Licensure:
* Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
