Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Imaging Services is a key leadership role at St. Luke's Health System with oversight of complex and diverse ACR accredited inpatient imaging services within our largest acute care facility - Boise Medical Center - as well as our Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and Inpatient Rehab facility. As the driving force behind imaging services, you'll lead innovation, inspire high-performing teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient experience.

* Drive operational excellence, staff engagement, and regulatory readiness
* Champion continuous improvement, agility, and operational excellence in imaging technology and patient care
* Lead and inspire high-performing teams across modalities of CT, MRI, IR, X-ray and more

Qualifications:

* Bachelors' Degree
* 8 years' relevant experience
* Current ARRT and certification/registry in one or more medical imaging modalities: computed tomography, interventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, or positron-emission tomography

Responsibilities:

The Director Imaging Services is responsible for managing and directing the delivery of imaging and radiological services. Scope: Responsible for imaging services for a large campus or across an area, including multiple medium and small sites.

* Provide leadership and management to imaging and/or radiological operations including participation in strategic and financial planning, operations, business development, quality/performance improvement, and clinical program development. 

* Develop and implement integrated, evidence-based, outcome-driven care models. 

* Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner. 

* Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 

* Develop, implement and maintain imaging policies and procedures. 

* Provides leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Will select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met. 

* Forecast growth opportunity and anticipated efficient staffing levels. 

* Responsible for the financial management of departmental budget. 

* Collaborates with other healthcare providers and community outreach. 

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors' Degree.

Experience: 8 years' relevant experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Must have current ARRT and certification/registry in one or more medical imaging modalities: computed tomography, interventional radiology, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, positron-emission tomography, vascular or echo cardiogram.
